Email Newsletter

If you would like the convenience of receiving what gets posted on Fingertips directly in your email inbox, you might consider signing up for the long-standing Fingertips email list, which has been up and running since 2004 or so.

You can subscribe by following the link in the sidebar to the right, underneath the heading “Email newsletter.” Or, you can send an email with the word “subscribe” in the subject line to this address:

fingertipsmusic-request AT freelists DOT org

You don’t have to write anything in the body of the email.

Either way you sign up, you should relatively quickly receive a confirmation email from FreeLists (the web site that runs the mail service) that you will need to reply to before you are added to the list. Sorry for the extra step but I figure people like the protection; no one can be signed up by someone else against his or her wishes, that sort of thing.

Email from Fingertips will not inundate you; generally there are two per month. Please be assured that this is a one-man operation, with no insidious, hidden, commercial motivation—which is to say I do nothing whatsoever with your email address except send you the newsletter. I don’t even see the email addresses, as they are processed by FreeLists (itself a non-commercial enterprise).

Note also that directions on how to unsubscribe are included at the bottom of every email, because lord knows, if you no longer want to receive the emails, I certainly don’t want to keep sending them to you!
